Woodbine Calls Minister of Youth & Evangelism
The members of Woodbine Baptist Church have called one of their own, Tim Atkins, to full-time service as Minister of Youth and Evangelism.

The committment of Woodbine's members to our youth program and outreach efforts recently led our congregation to seek the addition of an individual who could strengthen both of these ministries through full-time service to the church. For these purposes, we found a fitting candidate from among our own flock. Brother Tim Atkins was officially called by the congregation to the newly appointed position of Minister of Youth and Evangelism (MY&E) in a recent church business meeting.
Tim has been a blessing to the Woodbine family for several years through his Christ-honoring service as a layman. He took the lead as Woodbine began its AWANA program and has led that program faithfully for a few years, teaching children of the church how to live lives of service to Christ. He also served as a deacon, where he was elected chairman and has already been a strong leader in the work of the church. He has also been heavily involved in the outreach efforts of both the local church and the universal church, winning many souls for Christ while serving as Assistant Director of our Outreach Team and travelling to churches throughout the state in order to lead seminars instructing Christians on how to share their faith with others.
As he begins his work in these ministries to which God has called him, Tim is excited about the opportunities that lay ahead. He has been busy praying, brainstorming and researching about ideas on how to strengthen and grow Woodbine's youth program and how to better engauge the community through outreach efforts.
Tim and his wife, Cathy, have two children, Allision and Brandon, and each member of this family has been and will continue to be a blessing to the Woodbine family through their presence and service.
